ClearWave™
The ClearWave™ Water conditioner is the solution to scale build-up due to hard water. The ClearWave installs easily, and virutally eliminates scale build-up in pipes, faucets and appliances.
Water described as "hard" is high in dissolved minerals, specifically calcium and magnesium. Hard water is not a health risk, but a nuisance and costly.
The effects of hard water:
- Pipes clogged with scale will restrict water flow and will eventually need to be replaced.
- Heated hard water forms a scale (limescale deposits) that can contribute to the inefficient operation and shorten the lifespan of water-using appliances by as much as 30%. Just 3 mm. of scale in a hot water tank can drastically reduce its heating efficiency causing greater fuel consumption.
- Hard water reacts with soaps and detergents to form an insoluble, sticky residue that's difficult to rinse from bathtubs, sinks, faucets, and fixtures. This soap residue is often left on hair, skin and clothing causing dull lifeless hair, dry and itchy skin and premature fading and wearing out of clothing.
- Hard water requires more soap, shampoo, and detergent to clean properly.
Traditional water softeners may prevent limescale deposits but they require maintenance and a regular salt supply. Also, they do not remove the existing layer of scale. ClearWave™ is maintenance free and immediately starts to loosen existing scale. Over time, the ClearWave treated water helps solve hard water problems in the entire system, including pipes, water heaters, showerheads, and appliances.

The ClearWave water conditioning system uses microprocessor technology to electronically generate inaudible wave-forms which help keep calcium carbonate particles (scale) dissolved or suspended in water. With ClearWave, the electric field generated is always being applied to the water, while a magnetic field relies on the movement of water to produce the electric potential changes. Low frequency waveforms are emitted through two coiled wires attached to the outside of the water pipe. As a result of these waveforms, the two coils are constantly inducing a voltage into the water in the area of the ClearWave. When one coil induces a positive voltage the other coil induces a counteracting negative voltage. This electric field causes the calcium or magnesium to remain in solution or suspension and the treated water continues to dissolve scale as it flows downstream. The ClearWave is the state-of-the-art in electronic water conditioning. The ClearWave microprocessor-controlled technology continually fluctuates among 200 different frequencies, affecting the widest range of mineral concentrations and other variables that cause "hard water" problem.
